Telkom conning clients offering Samsung Galaxy S10

While searching the national anthem online for my son's homework assignment, I received a competition alert advising me I could win a Samsung Galaxy S10 if I answered a few survey questions. All the information provided was on the Telkom internet home page, thanking me for my loyalty and long standing service. They wanted to know where I used my Telkom services on (laptop or phone), if I used Microsoft or Android OS, & how often I buy new phones, age, gender, etc. All valuable information to service providers to identify there market & there preferences.

I was notified that I won the competition & could choose my prize. Apparently, there were "3" Samsung Galaxy S10's left & only had to pay 30ZAR (R30) for DHL shipping fee. Before getting to the payment page to provide details to pay the R30, a new (several) surveys opened up, never allowing for any payment options.

Well done for the crafty **** Telkom! Even looking for ways to email Telkom proved fruitless.

I never knew such a reputable company could stoop so low to con innocent clients.
