Telkom complain by NM Chamane

I had a phone contract with Telkom, and insurance i finished after 24momths and settle the credit and i tried to go to gateway branch and shut down the contract but they said it can only be dealt by email or calls, they cannot do it on a branch , now they are saying i owe the 5000 which is not clear where is it coming from?
