Telkom, come to the worst customer service provider!

I have quite the long story but i will keep it as short as possible. I've been with Telkom mobile since it first launched as 8.ta, moving from the yellow network service provider. I have always considered Telkom to be the best suited for my needs as they are relatively cheaper than other networks as far as data costs are concerned (that’s all i use in any case). Telkom is very quick when it comes to giving its clients new products, or signing them up to contracts, i mean have been taking contracts with Telkom for the 10 years I've been with the company and they get me set up in under 5 minutes, but try and get them to close your contract once it is done serving its due course (you'll be in for the shock of your life)

I have had a contract with Telkom that expired November 2017 and i followed all their due processes in trying to get this contract closed so they can stop "steeling" "cough cough", I mean debiting my account. But as you can expect from Telkom, this was not the case, my account was ruthlessly debited (among other products i have with them), with the amount of the contract that has already expired. I tried time and time again to rectify this by re-submitting the cancellation forms and calling to follow up on my cancellation status day after day, but it was pretty clear that Telkom was not done "sucking" me dry.

I have mad all attempts to get in contact with them, but to no avail, and they just continued grazing on my account. Eventually, left with no other viable option, i went to the bank and began to revers all debit orders from Telkom. I was sure that if they saw a client who’s been on contract with them for over 8 years and has been in good financial standings with them since then, that they would give me a call to find out what the issue was. But again, silly me for thinking so highly of them (that’s just too much to expect i guess). Instead, Telkom continuously grew the bill with each attempt that was unsuccessfully debited, to the point whereby i realised that the is no human or customer interaction element in the entire Telkom business, if they cannot "suck" you dry any longer, you get discarded from their network and you get sent sms that your case will now be escalated to their lawyers. Wow, way to talk to probably one of your good standing customers (claps once), this is what Telkom sees as offering customer service.

So there’s a lot more that i can say, but i think I’ve made my point, Telkom, whether you get this or not, I hope that i can help a potential customer or 2 realise, that to get into business with your company, is very similar to bringing a fully grown wild animal at home and expect that it won’t see you as food, because you "saved" it.
