Telkom Collections Department

I had a contract with telkom that was handed over to a debt collector previously and I was making payments to the account whenever I could until the account was left with a balance of less than R1200.00 and the debt collector stopped communicating with me on the account however to date, I received communication from a new debt collector and the money I owe Telkom has now miraculously increased to a value above R2000.00.

What I am failing to understand is how is this my fault and every time I have tried to get ahold of Telkom I get a run around. Can Telkom kindly review this and someone from their internal collections department to contact me and sort out this account as I cannot keep incurring collection fees. Should they contact me I am willing to selling this account with what I owe immediately with them excluding any other collection fees.
