Telkom ********!!!!

So this company seems like they enjoy making people miserable! I bought my laptop with Telkom & set up a debit order. This obviously so that I do not have to be going to make payments myself. Close to the end of paying for my device they then stop the debit order send my details to their collection Company nudebt & I have been harassed with this issue for some time now. According to previous messages I owed them R1818.63 I had emails on that matter back & forth also getting hold of someone to assist you at Telkom is a nightmare. After this storie dying down a few months ago I receive a sms now stating I owe R5448.25 obviously I am livid. Stating that they should speak to Telkom to find out what the heck is happening. Finally I am tired of receiving calls so I call them to arrange a settlement so that they can leave me alone as this has been tarnishing my credit score. I then now am told I owe R6667.95 then I am told that the amount is like that because of handing over fees & whatever else. I now state that this amount is not what I was ever aware of. I speak to a Team Leader called Deon & thereafter his Manager Mokgadi. On a telephone converstaion with Mokgadi she states that they can give me a 40% discount on the amount now keep in mind that I was advised to send a email asking Telkom for a settlement on the amount R5448.25 not once with our telephone conversations has she mentioned that the settlement will be 40% less R6667.95. Now that I am requesting a settlement letter stating R3268.95 I am told that Telkom cannot agree to that settlement. This company is the worst & I will never purchase anything from them again. They have done similar to me before & I thought maybe their management has improved. Someone from this Company needs to call me & have this situation ironed out as my next step will be the Ombudsman.
