Telkom charging me for an account I don't have.

I cancelled my account two years ago. I went to the Walmer Park store in Port Elizabeth. Where one of their sales people assured me that everything was cancelled. I also asked them to return my R700 deposit but received nothing yet. They are now sending me messages stating that I am R932.00 behind on my account and that it will be handed over to P&P attorneys. I don't have all the paper work anymore it has been two years.
