Telkom charging for no service

On 25 June 2016, I went to a Telkom store to cancel my ADSL service and line. The lady told me that the ADSL service will be cancelled immediately and I will not be charged for it again. She did inform me that for the line rental I need to give 30 days notice thus I will be paying one more time for the line rental at end of July.

End of July I was charged for the full service. I phoned them and they said nothing has been cancelled. Even though I have 3 reference numbers of calls I made to them to get this sorted. They kept making promises that someone would call me back to resolve the issue. No one called me back. Every time they keep escalating the problem and to this day I still do not know what the outcome is.

Reference numbers:

2****002

********** 7

********** 0

The way I see it: Telkom is steeling my money. I am paying for something I do not have. Do I cancell the debit order, they will blacklist me.

Regards,

Sampie
