Telkom cancelled my number accidentally and can't fix it

On 6th april 2020 my wife called telkom and spoke to Nomzi Komani to cancel our mobile contracts. After the call i noticed that i had no service on my phone. When calling her back it turns out that she cancelled my phone number instead of just the contract. She then informed us to call vodacom and ask them to reinstate my number due to me porting from vodacom to telkom. Vodacom told me that due to the port my number no longer belongs to them but it belongs to telkom and they have to reinstate my number. I called telkom back and she said she figured out how to reinstate my number and assured me that it will be active tonight. We waited a few hours and my wife called again to find out how far the process is, she assured us again that i will be working by later today. A hour later she smsd my wife and the sms stated as follows. "Good day Simone Please note service number was return to Vodacom it is no longer at Telkom order cannot be completed. We sincerely apologies for the inconvenience. We will advise of the progress. Kind Regards Nomzi komani Escalations?National Customer Care" my wife then told her she needs to fix this as its lockdown and i use my phone for work, all she said was is there anything else i can help you with.

Is this the training that telkom gives to their customers, i can assure telkom i will be canceling all service with them, wifi, cell phone contracts and i will be changing service providers aswell
