Telkom Cancellations / Help Centre - not interested in doing the job they are paid for

I have had to go into a Telkom Shop three times to complain about my bill for a 1 x FreeMe 1GB TopUp & Sim which I never asked for and calling the Call Centre is absolutely useless. The first complaint was logged on January the 11th 2017 - Ref. ********** 0 (I had to go back to Mall of the South to get the first Reference No) to which I received no response. The second on the 17/2/2017 Ref: ********** 5 and I also received no response. I then sent an email to their help line and this is the response I received.

from: Thulani Nyoni (T) **********
to: ********** **********
date: 9 March 2017 at 14:14

subject: [0][ ********** 05]FW: [ ********** 39]Complaints

mailed-by: telkom.co.za

Please note that Ref: number ********** 5 was logged on the 28th Feb and it takes 21 working day a contract to be cancelled.

Thulani Nyoni

Representative – Chats Customer Care

from: Beverley van der Walt **********
to: "Thulani Nyoni (T)" **********
bcc: **********
date: 9 March 2017 at 17:19

subject: Re: [0][ ********** 05]FW: [ ********** 39]Complaints

Good day Thulani,

If you check on your computer properly, under my name you will see the previous communication from Telkon offices at Mall of the South in January when I first logged that complaint. This Reference number is from the 2nd time the same complaint was logged. And it was logged as the lady that did the 2nd complaint said that Cancellations were not doing what they were supposed to.

If you can't find it on Telkoms computer and I have to go back there to do your job properly for you ... then Telkom will pay for my petrol to go back a third time.

Check your computer. When I took out the WiFi contract in January they logged the first cancellation and promised me it would be done. But seemingly your Cancellations Department are not doing their work. I am being charged for something I never asked for. I want a refund for all the R99.00's that has been taken out of my account *******ly.

I would like a reply and confirmation that what I have said here is true, by return mail. And a credit on my account.

If not I WILL put your name on Hello Peter as just another Telkom employee that is not doing his job properly.

I have not received any response to my email sent in response to Thulani Nyoni’s mail on the 9th March, even after threatening to put this onto Hello Peter. I have had to go back to the Mall of the South and Log a third complaint on the 16th March 2017 – Reference No: ********** 5 and also to get the first Reference No. which was on their computer.

I want a Credit of all the R99.00’s and confirmation of Cancellation regarding this. Telkom has cost me time and money and should be paying me extra for the petrol I have had to use in going to the Mall of the South three times to complain.

I need some answers with immediate effect.
