Telkom canceling my line without letting me know

Telkom canceled my adsl line without letting me know. I saw that the line was down and phoned them and that’s when I found out that my line has been canceled and I have work to submit since I’m self employed and we living such bad economic times. They have been trying to get me to get an lte line but they said they would handle it. This was very unprofessional from them. What are my rights as a customer say
