Telkom cancelation

I have had a telkom contract for almost 3 years and my contract period ended this year in January but i continue paying my bill until I tried to cancel it. I have been on their customer care service, speaking to a few people and none of them could help me cancel it. I was constantly told i have to do it in store. I went to my nearest telkom store that is based in Ladysmith KZN and they told me that the only people that can cancel it is either Newcastle or PMB. I have been trying for months to cancel it but I stopped paying it because I dont even use the service anymore and I can't seem to find the right person to help me to cancel my contract.
