Telkom can`t solve porting problem

I went to Telkom Hemmingways on 12 Dec`15 to upgrade contract. On recommendation of staff member, I cancelled my existing contract and took a new contract. I told Zandile several times that I can`t loose my number and if they can port it. Her reply was \yes
