Telkom Business - Who needs loyal customers?

Telkom, you are driving my absolute distrust in your ability to provide anything that resembles a professional service. You are also promoting your own bad service reputation in the market. Your employees don't care and no-one can escalate a fault with an escalation process that is designed to avoid accountability from the "higher up" management.

I logged a service call for a business ADSL service on the 9th January 2017 at 12 am and I still have the same slow speed at close of business on the 14th January 2017. It seems like the acceptable turnaround time for a business affecting fault is 6 working days and that you are comfortable to let consumers like myself feel the pain for the entire period.

I don't know of any business that can have such a lengthy service disruption and not feel it. This review is to let you know that I am feeling the pain and paying real money for it...the joke is on me I guess.

Now that I have vented my frustration, just know that you have made me begin the process of looking at alternatives that will exclude your service offerings - happy much? Another loyal customer bites the dust...

Reviewer Update

Guess what dear readers, it gets worse. I recieved an sms saying that my fault has been resolved and that if I disagree or the problem still exists, I must contact Telkom again.

What is the use of logging a call when it is closed without any further communication or consultation with me the affected customer?

COME ON TELKOM! I still have an issue and now you want me to re-inform you that you still have not done your job!

A technology giant such as yourself should be able to manage fault reporting better than this.
