Telkom Business - intermittent access - no support

This is nothing new or unusual. Telkom adsl issues - line down more than up when I actually need it, Openserve techs do their best when sent out but it's reliable for a few days if we lucky. App**** for 100mb uncapped business fibre on 12/10/2021, was told 7-14 days which I knew was "optimistic" even for a business line, but I've been given no reference number or anything to track or follow up. There is a complete lack of any useful answers from anyone as to whether the application has even been submitted. I'm happy to wait and keep putting up with the intermittent access affecting my work if I at least know that something is actually planned. The consultant who took my application seems to never be at work and nobody else at the Gateway branch can confirm anything, you can't get through on the telkom business line (sit on hold for 10 mins and get cut off). "Contact us" on the website sends you an autoreply but nothing thereafter (tried this on Monday). And just tried to email "***" from their FB page, which apparently doesn't exist. I'm at a loss of where else to turn. The simple answer is "cancel and go elsewhere" and yet as an IT tech I'm completely aware that the none of the alternative ISP's are problem free either, you either have a good experience or you don't. There is also all the extra admin compared to an upgrade. The whole world is tired of all the important issues in our faces daily, and yet we can't even just do our work because "service providers" can't be bothered to offer any sort of support. This results in MY service levels dropping and delayed with own clients. Is it asking too much to expect answers? Bet we'd get contacted immediately if we stopped paying? I'd test this theory but intermittent access is still better than being cut off like many of the other complaints. I'm fed up, which is why I'm here now.
