Telkom - ********* business conduct
Billing for an item I have not received/ ********* business conduct On 13.09.2024 I ordered two iPhone 15’s/ 256GB at the Telkom Mossel Bay store All the forms were completed and the one cellphone arrived around four weeks later. When I went to collect the phone it was the incorrect one, being a 128GB unit and I ordered a 256GB. I asked the representative if he could get 256GB’s but he informed me that he could not. I instructed himto return the phones and cancel the new contract as I will go the iStore in George and get phones there. On 29.10.2024 a case was opened (***5) to cancel the contract and on 31.10.2024 the case was closed by Ms Phasha Nthabiseng (reason unknown). On 06.11.2024 I received an invoice for R26,618.00 (invoice nr A***) for “Termination Penalty”. I immediately made contact with the local branch and took the invoice to them. Telkom Msb assured me that this would be sorted and I will not be billed for this. According to info received, on 07.11.2024 the local branch manager requested credit on my account via a motivation letter from the regional manager. Unsure if a case was opened on this but I was assured by Telkom Msb that it will be sorted. According to the info received the incorrect phone was already sold to a store in Knysna and I did not take possession of the item. On Sunday 01.12.2024 I received a notification that Telkom deducted the funds (R26,618) from my bank account. I am now being billed for an item I did not receive, funds are being deducted from my account which I did not approve which all comes down to grossly over-stepping your rights as a supplier, ********* business conduct and exploitation on the highest degree!! I went back to the Telkom Msb store and ANOTHER case was opened (***7) to start the refund process. I was told that it would take 72hrs to be resolved but today it is more than 10 days and no response yet from Telkom. We have 9 contracts in total and I will be cancelling these one by one!! Telkom must be the worse company ever!! Proof me wrong, I dare you!!
