Telkom breaching contracts

Telkom all of a sudden bills me for a 10MBps internet service while I signed a contract for 4MBps in September last year. I called, got to the 3rd party callcentre who said they would escalate this. After a week I received no communication.

I went to Telkom in Woodlands, waited 45 minutes only to get the same reply.... someone will contact me.

I have a written and signed contract, how can Telkom simply deviate from the contract? Are they above the law? They simply said (in the Telkom shop) that they have upgraded me. This while my internet download speed is never higher than 3MBps, not even after their so-called upgrade to 10MBps!!!! BEWARE, THEY SIMPLY GO AHEAD WITH THIS TACTIC UNDER WITH THE EXCUSE THAT THE 4MBPS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE!

Absolutely pathetic! I can advise anyone even remotely considering a Telkom product that you should prepare yourself to accept ZERO SERVICE, FALSE ADVERTISING and BREACH OF CONTRACT, without any service department to complain to.

I suppose their next step is to suspend my service because my debit order won't cover their incorrect billing.

STAY AWAY FROM TELKOM, WE NEED A NATIONAL PROTEST AGAINST THIS PATHETIC ENTITY.
