Telkom Branch cant take calls even from telkom lines & now we visit the branch every week for a 30 seconds response

<p>i 1st visited the telkom branch in cresta mall on the 1st of October 2016. they were off line and that i understood as we have such sometimes at work n i was omk with it. i then waited for another 2 hrs and they finally got back on line. but i had to que again, so i did and finally my time came. i wanted the I phone 6 plus in space grey, so after checking, they told me they did n ot have it. it crushed me thinking how long i was patient with the whole morning ordeal.</p> <p>i was then advised by the sales person (Tumelo Makete) to actually go to the I phone store down the passage and still tell them that i needed the telkom deal, and i did as advised. but what i wasnt told is that i would get there and be given the run around again that i have to wait a week as my appllication will have to be sent to telkom again for proccessing as they give the contract. so i felt, this i could have been told at telkom as they (telkom) also advised that they could order the phone for me.</p> <p>so i went back to telkom and i now i had to start the que from scratch. long story short, i ended up filling form in and given hope (& this hope was good). so i left & that was the last good anything (if you find any good here) that i ever recieved. </p> <p> </p> <p>today is the 18th, guess what no phone. 1stly, i kept calling to find the progress and the number went un answered, so naturally, i made an excuse for them thinking the was a cue or something. i visited the store and upon me getting there, i called the number, the gentlemen assisting me i asked, were does this phone ring, n guess what, it happened to be next to him and the response was "WE DO NOT TAKE CALLS AS WE ARE A WALK-IN BRANCH", i have never heard anything more disturbing. i am able to call the office of the president, i am able to call prison, i am even able to call the mork but the comapony that is the pinaccle of telekoms in the southern hemisphere does not take calls???? Attila Vitai & Jessecca, what is more disturbing, the fact that this happens or the response it self????????????</p> <p> </p> <p>any way, i got there to be told a 30seconds response that 'WE ARE WAITING FOR YOUR PHONE TO BE DELIVERED, WE WILL INFORM YOU"!!!!!!! i could have saved my petrol, saved my time, my customers time by simply having some1 picking up my call and saying no sir, dnt travel from Randburg to Cresta as we do not have the phone yet!!! but no, i had to come in for this.</p> <p> </p> <p>i have kept doing the same and only was given an email for Maketetk, who the response was still, we are waiting for the phone to be deliveres. i then asked for him to escalate to his manager, to find out were the parcel was, how far the delivery is exactly and what the hold up was. i mean as a manager, i insight into more operational staff, i have better answeres for my customer should my sabodinate escalate to me BUT, THE BRANCH MANAGER AT CRESTA TELKOM is an enermy to the brand, for us people who deal with customer experience, this is a shame to us. </p> <p>the managers response was "your phone is in transit for the cape to Jozi"... oh how i wish i could end this email here!!! 1stly, why do you need such a manager if his response is still at the level of Sales people? he/she is only protected by the title but does nothing to move their @ss to secure a client for the business! if this was were i work. i would have recieved a warning for gross insabodination becasue the longer i take for this client to join us, im loosing my company money, im shot 1 simple client for my target and what has he done, he has done, he has only repeated to me what his staff is saying. u do not need this guy there, promote any of the guys to be managers as clearly that manager thinks the same way. no 1 is about sollutions there, i do not care bout how the phrasing of the fact that my phone hasnt been delivered, all i wanted was to feel that someone is taking innitiative for me, fighting my battle as a customer.., not care was exercised for me.</p> <p> </p> <p>how much longer telkom, how much longer??? the manager has never even called me, to him im a number than a customer.</p>
