Telkom, Bradium Logistics and HMD Global - Not the way to treat customers!!!!

I took out a Telkom contract for a Nokia 7 Plus in September 2018. During the holidays I noticed that my phone would not charge. I was in another province so continued with my holiday and returned late January 2019. I wen to the Telkom store in Fourways where I took out the contract. I explained to the consultant that the phone just would not charge and I was told that they would send it to the repair centre to see what was wrong with it. A few days later I am told that the phone has a mechanical error and that it is not covered under warranty. Of course I am upset but decide to engage the staff ( who are clueless). I said that if it a mechanical error surely the manufaturer is to replace the unit. I had no phyical access or knowledge and I truly believed I received a DUD. I went on to speak to a Rachel from Bradiam Logistics who told me that there was nothing that they could do for me. I went back to the store explained again and the store employees say that the phone is under warranty and it should be fixed. I used my phone and called Rachel back and she spoke to the employee at the store. They have an argument as well and so I decided to contact Nokia. I got an email for a Shaun Durandt and he promptly responds to me asking me to send th eIMEI number which I did. A technical report is then sent to me which I forward to him and they say the phone was dropped and there is nothing they could do to assist me. I went to the store this morning and saw the same customer care consultants and they also assure me that the phone was in good order with no cracks when I gave it to them. So somewhere between the store and the repair centre someone dropped my phone and now I am having to fork put monies for something I did not do. I am going to take this forward as I am not responsible for the phone being dropped.
