Telkom Black Friday Deal - Empty Promises..

I recently app**** for the Telkom Black Friday deal for the Samsung Galaxy A8 for R250 a month.

So after my application was finalized and the first debit order went off, they told me they had to order more stock for the phone as they were all out.

Today I got a call informing me that the A8 is no longer available and that they don't know when stock will be available resulting in them offering me a sub-par phone as compensation on the same contract!

This is ridiculous and I feel that it was complete false advertising on their website. They should have had a message on their website informing applicants of the limited stock status of the phone.

I am really disappointed.

I also asked if they can't maybe order me a phone and I am prepared to wait, but they don't even know when stock will be available again. How can you not know?

Def will not recommend anybody applying for a contract with them, as you don't even know if you will get the phone desired.
