Telkom billing*showmax subscription

So last month downloaded showmax acc and opted for Telkom billing. So i did the whole subscription thing with Telkom online and was supposed to get and activation code. I waited days for that sms and it didn't come. I went back again to Telkom online to request the code again and still days later i still didn't have the activation code. So that means my showmax acc was not activated beacuse i didn't have that subscription activation code from Telkom. Then all of a sudden, weeks later of waiting for that sms with the activation code, i receive the sms with the code. I go to my showmax acc and used that code to activate my account and all was good. Finally had my showmax account actiavted. Minutes later after receiving the sms, i get other sms's with activation codes as well. I think there was 4 additional sms's sent to me. I ignored them, thought it's a system error since I've been waiting weeks for that sms. And i deleted those sms's cause i had no use for them. Now Telkom billed me 4 times for showmax subscription saying that i am liable for those subscriptions. How's that possible. I only used one code to activate my showmax account. So does that mean receiving an sms with the code means automatically you activated a showmax account without actually using the codes? I'm confused here. I used one code to activate an account. I didn't use all of those other 4 codes u guys sent. My reason for requesting that many times was because i was not getting any sms's so i thought maybe it's a system error and i need to re-quest.

Now what annoyed me again was the online chat agent was talking to today by the name of Courtney, she was not helpful at all. Telling me that i am liable for those other 4 subscriptions......WHICH I DIDNT USE...i only used one. And then she closed the chat without resolving me query. I find it stupid that Telkoms system can't reveal which codes were actually used in order to activate a showmax account. Really it's stupid.

In other words if you receive an sms with the activation code however u don't end up activating your show max account, makes u liable for a subscription...... Which subscription if i didn't activate any account? Does that make any sense. I mean the code was not used to activate anything.
