Telkom billing rules disadvantages customers

Last month I purchased a data bundle. I did so because I had run out of my subscribed data bundle. The once off bundle expires a month from its purchase- in my case 24 December.

At the start of the month, my recurring subscribed data bundle was replenished. This bundle is valid for 3 months.

I noticed that Telkom is depleting my subscribed recurring data bundle, not the once off.

This puts me at a disadvantage. If I use up all the subscribed data on the 24th, I won't have access to the once off bundle.

If telkom depletes the bundles which expires earlier, it would be fair to me. I'll have access to the sum of the bundles.

The call centre person said something about first in first out. It seems like your system just works that way.

I urge you to alter your system so that it's fair to the customer.

Please look into addressing this issue. I'm sure it affects many of your clients, clients that I'm sure you want to treat fairly.

Kind regards

Hi.

Thanks for the description of how it currently works. I described how the current system disadvantages me, your customer.

You don't acknowledge that I've been disadvantaged or that it's something you consider reviewing and fixing.

Please look into making this fair to us.

I'm paying for the data. The way you're billing me, I'm being double charged.

Regards

hi,

It's month end and i'm out of data bundles. I was disadvantaged by the way your system depleltes data from the bundles. I've reached out to you via Hellopeter to try and resolve this. As I have not had a satisfactory resolution, I intend to take this up with the National Consumer Commission.

Regards
