TELKOM BILLING DEPARTMENT DISAPPOINTING
Telkom Billing department can be very disappointing.
In 2016 I had LTE uncapped deal 24 months contract, however I decided to stop the contract early in 2017, so there was some amount I had to pay (R1500) for the router and last monthly installment. later down the line, I requested a statement of my account just to verify that my contract was closed and I had paid all the penalties for discontinuing. What I found in fact was that there was money due to me. I double checked with billing department they confirmed. ACTIONS TAKEN 1. In 2018 I logged a claim in Feb, saying I want to be refunded. - The consultant I was talking to said he doesn't know when they will finalize the case so it was basically open end. 2. In April when I made follow ups, the case had been closed with a note that I have to update my banking details and send them proof of my bank account. (However it was noted that there is money that is due to me) 3. I reopened the case same day and I was told that I will receive a call from billing department to confirm for me that the payment will be made to my account -I did get a call around 23 April, the lady I was with on the phone said I will get my money within 7 working days. -days passed no success 4. I called to make follow up, the new contact told me the case had been closed with a note that payment must be made to me but she could also see that there was no transaction that took place. 5. Everytime I call to make follow up I always find a story that the case was closed without note. One of the consultants who has been playing Micky Mouse games with me. ANDISWA NOKUTHULA MAJOLA She said if there is no payment I must get back to her, then I have been trying to contact her via emails following our initial dialog, she has been ignoring my texts
That's bad guys, they are very quick at helping you sign the contract, from there onwards they are not as enthusiastic about keeping us happy
