TELKOM - BILLED FOR NON-SERVICE
My telkom account was suspended at the end of January due to non-payment. The only reason I didn't pay, was cause I could not request that my line be moved as I was moving house at the end of January and telkom was unable to access my account via their 10210 customer care line to out in a request for my line to be moved,
I then tried to cancel my account, but couldn't due to the suspension.
I recently found out that even though my account has been suspended in January, I have still been billed for February, March, April and now May. Even though I no longer live at the address where the ADSL was setup, and the fact that service has been cancelled. Why am I still being billed? This is a month-to-month subscription. I did not sign any longer term contract. So why am I being billed as if I'm on a month to month contract.
I've spent countless hours trying to have this bill reversed, as there is no way I'm paying for a service that has been suspended and I can't even use.
Can somebody please contact me to resolve this issue. It's been extremely stressful and time consuming and is having a negative affect on my credit profile.
