Telkom bad service

So I was living with my boyfriend at the time and was working from home. I decided to get uncapped internet from MWEB. I asked MWEB if there are any other line rental charges and they said no. Flash forward a few months (December 2015) telkom sends me a bill of R758. I query this amount with MWEB they tell me not to worry about it. So I don't receive any bills from telkom until the beginning of April 2016 saying I owe R2300. So I call MWEB they say I am liable for this bill I pay the full amount and send cancellation papers which they mysteriously never receive. I continue to be billed for another month before I get another bill of R300. I send cancellation papers again which they get this time. (MAY 2016) I get told I must wait for final account in June i agree. June comes no account comes. I call they say it's on R0. They continue billing me for 7 months unknowingly. I get a bill in November 2017 of R2400 after proving I sent cancellation papers prior they wipe all of the 7months billing off and tell me my final bill is sitting at R548.78. I pay this(final bill shows payment and R0 balance). NOTE THIS IS MARCH 2017.

Fast forward I want to get a homeloan so they say I am declined because I owe telkom this money. I call in December 2018 they say it's nil balance and send me statement saying I owe R0. They will send it to the credit department to e-mail me a account closed letter. January 2019 still waiting they say it takes 7 days I leave it for 2weeks. Call again no record of that call they tell me it will take another 7 days I say fine. I wait 8 days no e-mail. I call again they tell me it will take another 7 days and it's been escalated to her manager. I wait a further 12 days I call again. I tell the woman on the phone I'm not willing to wait any more for this as I am still waiting for approval from the banks for my home loan because of this. The woman says she will escalate this to her manager YET AGAIN.

So don't do business with telkom they are not trustworthy.
