Telkom Bad News

<p>Me and my son went in to get only an ADSL line to WiFi.We were told it will be R700/R750 per month.The bill came and it was like R1 800. it included two months rent for a Weekender package to make calls.We never asked for this but it got added somwone onto the account.We dont even have a handset.Me and my son went last month to Telkom.He signed a form to cancel the Weekender.Now he got a sms saying that he owes R1 800 for this month.What the hell is going on at Telkom?</p> <p>why do they add a pacakge we did not ask for?</p> <p>We got told at the start my son has to pay a R700 deposit.</p> <p>Also that after the line gets installed we msut ask for a migrate to teh Uncapped adn money will be given back.</p> <p>Now there is also no story about him getting the R700 back.</p> <p>Did Telkom really cancel the Weekender pacakge last month?</p> <p>Why is the bill so high after we got told R700/R750 per month?</p> <p>Did Telkom credit the account wiht the first two months charging us for the Weekender we did not ask for?</p> <p>My guess is it is stilllying on the account.</p> <p>We asked them to e-mail the statement from last month.</p> <p>We did not receive it.</p> <p>Only an sms stating the amount.</p> <p>Account on my sons name.</p> <p>Need some help here.</p>
