TELKOM BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
We completed a form to cancel our Prepaid home line in September 2019 and handed this in at Telkom The Bridge Port Elizabeth. Month later they still deducted the monthly fee for our prepaid phone. So my husband phoned and while on the phone the consultant on the other side just blunty cancelled the line, so we had R745 of airtime left on the sim. Gone! Went into Telkom PE again the next day, the manageres Marina o no she would make sure this gets sorted out, will refund us the airtime and check that line is cancelled. So we did not here from Telkom again for 3 months, so my husband said lets just cut our losses and forget about the airtime at least the line is cancelled ...cause it got cut while on the phone with Telkom. So In January 2020 we all of a sudden get an account saying that we now owe over R1000, so went back to the manager Marina at Telkom Pe this was still not sorted out after she promised me that she would sort this out and she also said that she made a note on the system saying that this was wrong she even confirmed that the line was cancelled. We have now been handed over for not paying. Laywer says that Telkom says the line was not cancelled so Ok, we are not getting the monthly airtime from them since September, we cannot use the phone because Sim was cancelled on their side so how do they get to this amount without us having any line going or us not even being able to use the phone. I am so upset and this Marina at Telkom The Bridge has no idea what she is doing obviously - VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. How do we get this sorted out now? We refuse to pay this as this is not our fault and line was cancelled!
