Telkom - astronomical increase in calls to parts of Australia

I periodically phone my sister in Australia and in January 2016 a 43-minute call cost me R27.91 plus Vat. The next time I phoned was on 5th April 2016. When I dialled the number, there was a message saying calls had been increased and one should check the charges on the Telkom website. Well this is not easy to find, and thinking that the increase would be a normal percentage increase, I carried on with the call. On receipt of my latest Telkom bill, I was totally flabbergasted to see that a 26-minute call had cost me R538.01 plus VAT !!!!! The notation on the bill is Äustralia fixed non metro, but my sister is in the same place she has always been. So Telkom have increased the call charge from approximately 65 cents per minute to R20-70 per minute - I can't even compute that percentage increase. On phoning accounts, we were told this is correct !!! This is insane and ******** and I would like to know who I can contact at Telkom to explain the logic and reasoning behind this astronomical increase !!!!
