Telkom are fast to take money but deliberately slow to return it!

Telkom are absolute *******. My service was cancelled and they still took the deposit off my account. Shortly after I contacted them they agreed to refund me the R809 they took, I even got the final invoice showing the amount they owe me. When I asked about the refund at their service centre in Cape Gate Shopping Center the lady said it would take 15 working days to be paid in. That was in August! 2 weeks ago I went back to the service centre to ask where the refund is and it appears nothing had been done on the matter at all, so the lady "escalated" the matter and told me it would be about 72 hours before the issue is dealt with. I am still waiting for the refund. Last I checked the term for taking money from someone without offering services in return was called *****ing and now they seem intent on not even paying back what they owe to a former client. Telkom are very quick to take your money but almost deliberately slow in returning it. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with them as their service begins and ends with a sales pitch.
