Telkom - anyone employed at Telkom actually work??????
I am currently building on my property and need to have a Telkom telephone pole moved. This seems to be an impossible task! How is it possible that a company like Telkom 'loses' reference numbers on there system? I first called them on the 16th October 2018 and was given a reference number by Ovayo. 18/11/2018 - spoke to Sibalbawe - they were unable to give me any feedback as to the progress of my query. 22/11/2018 - spoke to Melissa - she told me Telkom technicians "should" be going to the property. 15/01/2019 - spoke to Terry-Anne - she was unable to find the reference number given to me on the 16/10/2018. She proceeded to give me another reference number and advised me that the dialogue had been logged and marked as 'high priority'. 22/01/2019 - spoke to Thandiwe - She told me my request would be escalated to the Cables Manager Dept. 28/01/2019 - spoke to Andisa. The reference number given to me on the 15/01/2019 was 'not found' on the system AGAIN!! She issued me with another number. She told me she would ask her team leader to escalate my request and would also try resolve the issue about previous reference numbers given. 06/03/2019 - spoke to Carol - not such a surprise to hear that the reference given to me on the 28/01/2019 could not be found!!! ....so Carol issued me with another one! 01/04/2019 - spoke to Thandiso ...... and once again .... reference number not found!
(Reference numbers have not been stated on this complaint but will be made available if requested).
How is it possible that all the reference numbers cannot be found on the system? Does anyone employed at Telkom actually work??? Employees seem to be unable to log a call. Data on Telkom's system is obviously not secure as information seems to get lost on a continuous basis. What is a person to do if they need to have a telephone pole moved???????
