Telkom and Trudon collaborate to de***** customers

Once again Telkom has allowed Trudon to access and incur charges on Telkom's customer's accounts. This is done without the customer's express and written permission, and begs a whole list of security questions.

The latest charge is disguised as a Contract charge, for white pages listing (in my case described as (WP 2016 PIETERMARITZBURG WP(PMB) ********** 398118 PERIOD 01 OF 01 PAYMENTS R504.00 VAT EXCL)

I have reported this matter again and again and was EVENTUALLY told in July that it was in fact a Trudon related charge. When I pointed out that this is **********, I was assured that the charges would be reversed. To date, this has still not been done...the dispute is now sitting in the "back office", who still needs to accept the dispute and pass the credit.

When I again queried how it is possible that a third party can access my account and incur charges on it, it was explained to me that Trudon's computers had in error charged many Telkom customers erroneosly and had not reversed these incorrect charges automatically....what an excuse for a **** that is making someone very rich, very quickly. Imagine if, like many people, I did not read every line of my detailed bill??????

This is not the first time Trudon's computers, with Telkom's permission, have resulted in charges unauthorised by myself, being incurred on my account. If I did the same thing with, for example, a Woolworths card ....I would be sent straight to jail for *****, but it seems if the ***** is just big (or maybe small) enough, one gets away with it, scott free.

Remember, every TELKOM customer is entitled to a free listing. One would only contract with TRUDON if you wanted an enhanced listing, and that would be billable.
