TELKOM AND MWEB

On 2017-05-22 I had to report a faulty line to Telkom, three weeks later and a lot of calls from my side to find out the progress of the fault without any response from Telkom, I received a sms that my line was restored. I immediately saw that I still did not have internet at home. I contact Telkom again to report that my line is still not working. Telkom informed me that it the line was fine it must be my router. The router was 2 months old and I could not believe that it could be the problem and after reporting another fault the technician informed me the line is fine it was my router. But when you buy these days a router at Telkom they do not inform you that your guarantee do not mean they will exchange the router but it has to be send it to be tested and fixed. Another two weeks later they informed me that I can pick up my router. Telkom replaced my router with a new one and when I try to install the router I still struggled. I phoned Telkom and was told to phone Mweb as they are my service provider. I phoned and was informed that there is still something wrong with the router. The next day I went back to Telkom and told them what Mweb said and the Manager really tried to assist me. I am so fed-up at this stage and bought a new router. Trying the D-link nothing happened and then I tried the new TP-link router and still there was no internet. And here is where my frustration begins. Phoning Telkom they will tell you the line is synchronizing the problem is at Mweb. Phoning Mweb they will tell you that there is no authentication on the line the problem is at Telkom. No my big question as the customer is WHAT MUST I DO TO FIX MY INTERNET? Because not one of these companies, TELKOM OR MWEB wants to take the responsibility to fix my internet, and no one can tell me what to do to fix this. To date my internet is exactly 6 weeks off and still these two companies blame each other and I am in the middle and pay for services that I do not receive.
