Telkom and Mobicel - MIsinformation and Lies

I recently had one of my Telkom contracts come to an end. I was contacted telephonically by Mobicel, on the behalf of Telkom, to offer me a new contract. I tried to explain that I wanted an upgrade, which I should of been entitled to but the consultant told me they could not help me with that. The consultant then offered a new contract and said I would get two sim cards with the data and minutes spread across them. I was not happy with that but finally agreed. The contract was supposed to cost R170 per month. When I received the phone, I suddenly had 3 sim cards, which was not something I had been told about. I eventually found time to go into the telkom store to find out what was going on, only to be told that not only did I have three sim cards, but three different numbers and three different contracts. I was shocked and angry. When I tried to get a hold of Mobicel to say that I did not want this and I want to cancel, they said they would launch an investigation. In the interim I have had a courtesy call from someone at Mobicel who tried to convince me why having 3 sim cards and 3 different numbers was fantastic but nothing actually useful has happened. I received my bill a few days ago, and I see not only do I have three different contracts but I am being charged three separate amounts which tallies way over R170. I have been blatantly **** to. This morning, after sending numerous emails, I got phoned again by Mobicel to say that they have investigated and apparently I agreed to all the terms and conditions. This is absolute *******. I want to see this transcript of the original call where I was told I was going to pay over R170, have 3 sim cards, 3 seperate numbers and 3 separate contracts. I am tired of all the phonecalls because Mobicel can say what they like without me having any record of what is going on. Telkom, you have decided to use Mobicel to market products on your behalf. Mobicel is dragging your name through the mud with their incompetency. I have a right to cancel this contract without penalty, according to the consumer protection act. This needs to be resolved. If it is not resolved I will be taking this further with the relevant authorities.
