Telkom and incompetence go hand-in-hand

To whom it may concern, Please explain to me how my invoice says I should pay extra for no late payment, yet the same invoice reflects payment made one day prior? What is the reasoning behind this as this was not clearly explained to me and I have been trying to get some sort of explanation to no avail.

I want to reiterate that I have been trying to call in so that I can speak to someone regarding my invoice and I have been transferred from agent to agent because nobody seems to be interested in assisting. They claim that I will be transferred to the relevant department and then they hang up the call. My question here is, does Telkom have any customer care staff or are you using AI for everything? It feels like there is an over-reliance on a language model that fulfils less than 20% of customer needs. Is there a reason for this? I also find the behaviour of Telkom "customer support" to be unprofessional, and it honestly borders on apathetic as there is an attitude of not caring. I tried cancelling my contract, and even the retentions department could care less to answer calls. The self-help service is useless and it is much better to speak to an actual human being, why has Telkom made it difficult to speak to someone? Has it not come to your attention that customers cannot reach anyone except the switchboard (that is more interested in quickly "transferring" rather than understanding the queries). Speaking to the switchboard agent is like being referred to by a receptionist who does not care enough to ensure that customers are happy. This is disappointing, given that MTN offers a way cheaper premium for the better services. I implore Telkom to learn from its competitors.

I hope this email will be attended to urgently as I am really dissatisfied (actually disgusted) with Telkom's processes thus far.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW: STAY AWAY FROM TELKOM! MTN is much much better.
