telkom and finrite

Took my phone in for repairs on the 5th of April 2018 and I was told it would take up to 21 working days till to get it fixed and returned to me.

It is approaching two month now and i still haven,t gotten my device, When I went to the Telkom store they refer me to another company that handles their insurance(Finrite). They have a contract with them(Finrite) not me. I don't know why i have to contact them . i was never told that the is a 3rd party insure involved when i took out insurance.

The hasn't been any update regarding my device since 17 April 2018. i'm sitting here with no device while they are debiting me for a device that they have with them.

As cheap as telkom i wouldnt advice to takeout insurance with them.
