Telkom and bad credit score

I recently tried to do a home loan and as a result of telkom oweing me money after i cancelled months ago , my credit score has gone down. They dont want to give me a letter stating my account is indeed paid. You cannot get hold of someone whom actually helps and i have spent over 3 hours 3x a day trying to get through to telkom. Disgusting to say the least.
