Telkom agent referred me to hellopeter to get assistance!

From the start of 2016 my landline availability was interrupted continueously due to "cable replacements". During September 2016 I decided to cancel the service. I've sent numerous e-mails to the client centre. Acknowledge receipts received and promises to be contacted by a consultant. I waited the contact period. Phoned the contact centre. No trace of the cancellation request. This time I had to complete and e-mail a completed form + id etc. Acknowledge receipt received again and another promise. so it went on and on. I phoned 3X on 1 day requesting e-mail address to lodge a complaint and received 3 different e-mail addresses. 2 was returned as not existing and on the 3rd one I did not receive any reply. Next I went to a Telkom office in Cape Gate Brackenfell. Very helpfull girl "escalated" my complaint and promised me that I would be contacted within 3 days. Needless to say the days passed and on Sunday morning I went in again. The gentleman at the door informed me that if a complaint was escalated via them, there is no further actions that they can take on their side and that I have to contact the call centre again. When I informed him how many times I've already tried that avenue, his only reply was: "So sorry, contact hellopeter." So here I am. Helopeter, please help me to cancel my Telkom landline.
