Telkom after a year I canceled my contract with them immediately but I still owe them.

I had a router with Telkom decided to cancel immediately because I wasn’t happy with the service any more. The lady that assisted me give me a reference number that if they start with nonsense I must give them. After a couple of months past I got sms and calls from the lady told me that Telkom as them to get their money from me after I had to cancel my contract with them immediately. I give that lady the reference number I was giving from the lady who assisted me by the branch in Alberton she never got back to me since last year, to my surprise last week I been receiving sms’s from the attorneys to pay back the money or else they will send me a letter of demand if I don’t pay immediately.
