Telkom affecting my credit scoring

Telkom is the worst communications company I've ever came across. They the worst in service, they the worst in data services etc. I haven't came across any person that has anything nice to say about telkom. I advice nobody to go with any telkom services. There are much better service providers out there, Telkom is at the bottom! I suggest customers not to even contact telkom for any quotes. I've been trying to get an account removed from my name from last year that Telkom opened up with out my knowledge and consent in 2017. This accumulated an outstanding arrears amount on my name which I only noticed when my credit bureau score started dropping. Telkom advised that i need to get an affidavit stating i did not request this account. I know for a fact, telkom opened up this account by me just requesting an interest in 2018 and nobody has ever contacted me. In June last year I was contacted, 6 months later which I advised Im not interested. I've been trying for months to get this account closed and telkom refuses to prioritize this. All they do is chat to me on twitter which i keep repeating myself to different consultants. I was requested to get an affidavit, which is now an inconvenience, stating i did not open up this account. I asked them many times to pull the call or any documents of me agreeing to this account. I just get ignored. How do you open up any accounts without any agreement or records from the consumer? I received a case number from telkom ********** 5 for the ***** team to investigate which i dont get why must i suffer, I dont get any response of whats going on. While this is all happening, my score continues to drop on a month to month basis which telkom could care less of. I'm applying for a bond in the next month and I'm afraid this is going to affect my application. I repeat to consumers, DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING WITH TELKOM!!! They do all this fancy advertising, or make you think they giving you bargain contracts but its not worth it at all!!! i have many friends, work colleagues and family that has gone through the same frustrations.
