Telkom ADSL - to be avoided if at all possible

Service from Telkom is absolutely appalling. Placed an order to move an ADSL line on over 3 months ago and it still has not been installed, despite Telkom continuing to bill for months after no service was received. Visited Telkom and called numerous time, each time with the promise that someone would attend to install the line as requested. Over three months later, nothing! Phone lines always busy and we have to constantly and repeatedly follow up on progress and for status updates, with empty promises each time.
