Telkom ADSL Pathetic

I live in pretoria east and have not had internet now fr almost a week, I pay for a service i do not have and its the third time this happens. when i call the line i have to wait for 30min before an agent answers, then they tell me its a problem with my router type, they are awrae of it and are trying to fix it, i ask if then i can recieve a different brand of router that works, she replies if we do that for you we have to do it for everybody. It is not my fault that that you supply us with defective routers that have connection issues. I want a working internet connection like i paid for, wether a recall of all aztech routers is on the cards that is none of my business, we have a contract and you are breaching it.
