Telkom ADSL outage now more than 50 days and counting

Telkom is really extremely slow to fix problems.

You log a fault and nothing. Dead.

When you get them to start working - eventually on a fault - the guys are really nice and try their best.

But if they leave then it's like the living departed. You cannot get Telkom to talk to you. I have not tried a psychic.

Our line was out for 45 days - last month.

Then Telkom did a great job to (try and) fix it.

14 days after they fixed the problem my ADSL ping pushed 2000 to 3500 ms. And speed to less than 1.

My ISP Webafrica logged the fault early last week. And I knew it would be a miracle to see Telkom within 48 hours. And this is not proven true.

Every second day I would phone Webafrica to reset my port. Then my line would work for a day or two. Then ping of 2000 to 3000 ms. I would phone Webafrica and they reset the port. You get the idea?

Today the same. I phone Webafrica and they reset the port. 5 Mins later ping of 2000 to 3000 ms, and I phone webafrica. They reset the port. 5 mins later I phone webafrica. They rest the port. 5 times later and I am sick and tired of this and so up-set with the Telkom.

And I can nothing as there is no fiber and no LTE.

I pay Telkom to be useless.
