Telkom ADSL line cancellation
We requested our residential ADSL line to be migrated mid March 2019 to our new residential address as were were moving house. Telkom scheduled the migration to take place on the 4th April 2019 at our new address. However when the technician arrived on the day, he found that he could not proceed with the job as new cables had to be ordered which apparently would take up to 3 months or longer. We then decided to cancel our ADSL subscription (we are on a month to month - no contract) which we did online as we were instructed to do so. We also called the call center on the 8th April at 1.20pm and it was confirmed that migration order was cancelled and we even received telephonic calls from Telkom during the course of April to confirm that our ADSL line etc had been cancelled. We are still receiving bills each month, yet we cancelled this line. Please help as I cannot affort to have my name blacklisted as I run a business and this could affect my credit rating. Over and above this, telkom call center cut off my office landline at the same time in error on the 4th April and we have logged calls to have it rectified and still we cannot make outgoing calls. Telkom Service is absoultely pathetic and will definately not be using them in the future.
