TELKOM ADSL CONTRACT SUBMITTED WITHOUT OWNERS CONSENT!!!!!!!!
Good Day Telkom
Below is the email sent to your staff member Bulelwa back in March 2021 and as yet no resolution from telkom. Email to *** ========================== As per our conversation this morning 19 March 2021, Telkom has *******ly billed my father in law for a invalid contract(***A) that was never completed. Do call my father in law Devenderan Dhever on to raise a new Dispute so this ******* activity may be resolved.
I have copied in my father in law on this email as well.
In Decemeber of 2020, we approached Telkom Gateway and father-in-law spoke to Hamida Ibrahim the sales consultant, to upgrade our adsl. The adsl upgrade was requested for landline , account no: ***, from a 5mbps to 10mbps line. Hamida after a very long time indicated that ADSL service was no longer available for my location. We were told that the contract could not be completed. We accepted that we would continue to use the 5mbps adsl line on a month to month basis, until such time service could no longer be provided. At which point we would consider an LTE contract.
However Since February 2021, we started being billed for a 10mbps line for the line, invoice number 102A***N and then invoice number 103A***N. We were *******ly billed for 10mbps line for the months of February and till now
These charges for the 10mbps line need to reversed. Do call my father in law Devenderan Dhever on to raise a new Dispute so this ******* activity may be resolved.
We are highly frusted with the level of service from the Sales consultant , Hamida Ibrahim at the Gateway branch as well as her manager Thami Zwane. We had visited them on Tuesday 16 March, after speaking to an Mbali from your call center. Mbali indicated we needed to go to the branch to verify what occured with the contract. Hamida was very rude and dismissive of our claims. However after much discussion she finally indicated she would check Telkom systems to verify what had occurred with the contract ***A. Hamida then later called my Father - In - Law Devenderan Dhever after 6pm on 16 March , indicating to him that the contract for the 10mbps upgrade for a landline was never completed on their side and we needed to call the accounts department to advise them of this dispute.
I called in on 17 March and gained reference ***9 from a Ntombazipheli, who did not create the dispute correctly as this was rejected yesterday 18 March 2021. This was confirmed when I called in today to speak to Yoliswa from your call center 10210. During my discussion with Yoliswa my call was cut and I had to call in again to speak to her but was told by Thembiza that there was no way to contact the agent as they dont have a clue who works where.
I then asked to speak to the Manager Bulelwa to call my father-in-law so he may give the approval to cancel the 10mbps. Throughout this process no one at Telkom apologised for the issue that Telkom clearly created. Why must it be so difficult to raise a dispute and get this resolved?
To summarise the 10mbps billing needs to be reversed as there is no valid contract in place. We never had received a new router for this supposed contract or a confirmation that this was processed @ Telkom.
1. Please open a new Dispute to resolve this ******* billing 2. Cancel the 10mbps speed. 3. Reverse the charges for the 10mbps speed. 4. Revert adsl speed to 5mbps and ensure this is billed to account ***. 5. Reverse the amalgamation of the accounts *** and ***, as these were seperate billings for both numbers prior Telkoms ******* billing. 6.Confirm the new bills for both numbers once the reversal has been done.
By leaps and bonds the worst service we have ever experienced with a South African service provider. A warning to the South African public , do not choose Telkom, they will surely rip you off!
