Telkom account mess up!
At the beginning of April, i wanted to upgrade my phone. I was on a FreeMe Family Unlimited, with 4 multi sims. I wanted to get the new Samsung S9 plus on the same package, as i was due for an upgrade. This is when the mess started. Firstly it took 2 months to get the phone, i had to follow up continuously as no one at the store did so. Once the stock was in store i went for collection. They then would not let me take the phone, as they said they were unable to give me the phone on that package, and they would have to downgrade my package to the the FreeMe Unlimited, which i reluctantly agreed to, as i had already waited 2 months. they then could not "seize" one of the multi sim's due to a system error, and this was preventing them from downgrading my package. this carried on until June 1st, at which point they decided that cancelling my FreeMe Family unlimited and its multi-sims altogether, and then providing me with a completely new account, on a FreeMe Unlimited package with an Samsung S9 plus, which i agreed to on condition that i would not be charged additional fees, as all I really wanted was i simple upgrade on my current package. So they make the changes, and i get my S9, and expect that i only have a FreeMe Unlimited package. But this is not even the worst part, I use my unlimited package for predominantly streaming Netflix, and playing online games on my PC, and this package was sufficient for the previous 2 years. On the 11th June 18, in the middle of an online game, i was suddenly unable to join the server, one minute i'm playing on the server, the next it's dropped me from the server and then i'm unable to rejoin. After days of troubleshooting, trial and error and searching forums thinking the problem is with my hardware, i discover that the problem is with telkom, as i had no issues with my Vodacom sim card. And so on the 14 June 18 i log a call for the problem. I'm told that it will be escalated to the techinal team, who will give me feedback within 72 hours. Of course feedback is non existant. I sit on hold for 15 to 20 mins, to the call centers just to get to someone who i have to reexplain the whole story to. I got fed up with doing that, so i requested a point of contact, one of their team managers. This was useless as it made no difference to receiving a solution or any feedback.
The following team managers, failed to provide any solutions or feedback. Tony Venter Granny Malingg Paul Maphoto. I then asked Paul for his Superiors details. i receive Tumelo Mohlatlole's e-mail. I send her a long mail on 22nd June practically begging for help. She only reponds on 25 June, saying the following
"Morning Kyle
We will give you a call today to assist you with the below.
Regards
Tumi "
She leaves no contact details, and suprise! no one calls me!
After sending another Mail to Tumelo, i am eventually contacted by John Rasebeka. He aslo makes all these promises to help, and then, once again, without the problem being resolved, i'm forgotten about.
Its now 05-July-18, i still cannot access online gaming servers. i still receive no feedback. I have requested numerious times, to all of the above mentioned names, that if they cannot fix my account to please close the account and i will then go to another isp.
But worse happens, somehow they totally messed my account up, today i receive this bill.

I'm at my wits ends. All i want is 1 account, on the FreeMe Family Unlimited Package with a Samsung S9 plus, and i want 1 multi-sim connected to that account, which i can leave in my home router for Netflix and online gaming, like i had for the previous 2 years.
If Telkom cannot give me that then at least have the decency to cancel my account without charging me extra fees. If i must keep the device "S9", then downgrade my package to the minimal package so that i can go get internet from another provider, that will not restrict me from online gaming.
