Telkom - account issue still unresolved
<p><span style="color: #666666; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; background-color: #ffffff;">Wish Telkom would stop sending me messages saying thay my account is overdue. They should rather stop trying to debit funds whilst I have not authorized such debits, and rather recon the EFT payments I make EVERY month. They will then realize that I am not overdue - just because their unauthorized debits do not go through, doesn't mean I am in arrears. I have already made an EFT payment and according to my calculations, my account is settled and I dont owe them anything. If this happened only once I could still understand such a misunderstanding, but this idiocy seems to be an ongoing affair since I receive such notifications at least every few months. </span></p>
I did a recon now of my statements and payment. And it became clear that Telkom decided to tell me I am in arrears for the amount on my statement received at the beginning of April for March, but payment for that statement is only due between 1 April and 2 May. How can they tell me I am in arrears if it has not even passed latter mentioned due date?? Ugh.

Please brush up on your facts. The invoice date was 1 April 2017 and due date was 2 May 2017 and not the last day of the month as you have claimed. Even if the payment was due the last day of the month, it does not explain how they can tell me I am overdue in the middle of the month if paymeny is only due at the end of the month.
