Telkom account is a nightmare no landline no internet connection but keep on sending statement monthly for payment

I had an account with Telkom for Internet and landline, it was for 2yrs, after the expiring date I call the call center to Enquire about closing the account I was told that since its already ended they will close it. After 3 months I receive a statement saying I m owing landline and Internet which was no longer connected too, I went to Telkom Secunda I was told that the account is closed the head office made a mistake, but they will fix it.. now after a year I receive sms"s from Telkom saying they hand over my account to lawyers because of none payment, you know I am so sick and tired, can Telkom assist me on updating their info and take my name away, surely they can see that the landline is not active including their internet subscription
