Telkom Account Closed - took them 10 months

I requested my account to be closed in Feb 2017, i send numerous emails as they only accepted emails, it took telkom 10 months to eventually reply to my email and another month to close it, almost a year to close an account, Now i have received an SMS from DC Fourie attorneys. This is utter incompetence, why must i pay for Telkom's incompetence. Before that i have received notifications from 3 other attorneys whereby i send all the proof of emails to them as well, now with a new attorney and they keep on adding fees, this is unacceptable , is there no one that can assist with this?
