Telkom Abhorrent Customer Service/Billing

I upgraded from S22+ to S25+ on the 11th of February 2025 with Kgaugelo Moseki (Frans) at the Telkom Express on Ferndale on Republic. I wanted a smar****ch and had to wait till the 14th of February 2025 for stock. I asked more than once would everything be on track with my debit order, and I was assured by Frans that all was in order. I would be charged pro-rata and only be impacted at the end of March 2025 as per my usual debit order date. Initially the insurance was transferred over from old device to new device. And I did not want that additional insurance for the old device. After much consideration, when I went to fetch my smart watch on the 14th of February 2025, I advised Frans that because I am still paying for old device till November 2025 could we re-in state insurance on the old device. However, because of his blasé attitude I decided to call and spoke his branch manager on the 15th of February (who was supposed to call me back as nothing was captured), thereafter I called Telkom insurance, only to find the S22+ wasn’t insured. This was only resolved on the 18th of February 2025 after speaking to Cindy Khoba. R1367.19 went off on the 28th of February 2025, this was for the S22+, data, voice and insurance. However, on the 12th of March 2025 I received a message informing me that my account was suspended due to credit limit. I was stuck and only after calling 180, and speaking to Mbali Zondo (M) *** on the 14th of March 2025, it was brought to my attention that I needed to pay R953.10 for my account to be unblocked. I called the manager at Telkom express, Ferndale on Republic, who is quite useless, as this is the second time that she hasn’t called me back. And doing the math what doesn’t make sense is, I did upgrade on the 11th of February 2025 (Telkom FlexOn 6 Deal) so how does Telkom charge me the full device subscription? Please educate me further, I might genuinely be missing something. Then on the 25th of March 2025 Telkom Insurance debited me R525.47. How Telkom when the S22+ was not insured between the 11th of February 2025 (day of upgrade) till the 18th of February when I spoke to Cindy Khoba? And when I called Telkom insurance on the 26th of March, according to Lenique, the S22+ was insured twice. I again spoke Telkom Insurance on the 27th of March 2025 and that consultant said Lenique was mistaken. All the while none of them could tell me why or saw any record of me being charged R525.47. I have had to deal with a bunch of absolutely *********** individuals, and mind you that I have not listed all my interactions during this period. I will say this once more, if this doesn’t get resolved/someone calls me back to explain why I was billed with R2453.19 for the 2 devices + insurance, I will report you to the ombudsman.

(I hope the device subs fee of R1089 includes smar****ch)
