TELKOM A TOTAL LACK OF ABILITY TO PROVIDE SERVICE.

I app**** for Fibre at a temporary tented promotion stall in our area on 26 Sept 2022 and signed up with Openserve and Telkom, where they promised installation would take place within a week. The Monday, I was phoned to verify my bank details by the Telkom guy I signed up with. A month later, at end of October, I had to phone him to follow up. Another month went by. End of November, I followed up with him again. After he followed up on his side, I received an SMS from Telkom, giving me a date in February 2023 for installation! All lies and empty promises. So I cancelled. Telkom make promises they cannot keep.

I was also told that Telkom would no longer maintain the ADSL line I am using currently, as FIBRE is available! But to get fibre installed is a nightmare!
