TELKOM-A DISGRACE TO ALL SOUTH AFRICANS
Good afternoon
In May/June '17 I app**** online and informed Telkom of my impending move, to take place in July '18. I deliberately app**** online to qualify for the free, hands free telephone. The sub-contractor duly arrived at my new premises and installed lines etc. but, was not informed of my free telephone, nor did he have any to 'hand out'.
I contacted Telkom telephonically through the months and was always promised someone, when working in the area, will drop off my free telephone. Of course, this has never materialized. I seldom go to shopping centres but, on 3 occassions when I have gone, I have popped into Telkom at N1 City. A very nice gentleman said as soon as they have stock, his friend who lives in my area, will drop off one. Well, after 4 times of the same story, I do not believe, this will materialize either. My friend was in Telkom recently and overheard a conversation, where your 1 client walked out with 3, yes 3 of these 'free', hands free telephones. He had app**** online, in January '18.
I have commented on Telkom's page on FB and have messaged them. The responses so far:- 1. I must go into my nearest Telkom store to get my telephone - Umm, did you actually read what I typed. Can you read English??
2. They are out of stock. Someone will contact me once they have more stock. I should believe this, really!!
3. The promotion has now ended and therefore, they do not have to give me a free telephone. Well I never!! I never saw this one coming!!
My late husband who worked for Telkom for 37 years, would certainly have a lot to say about this treatment.
Where, how do I acquire my FREE, hands free telephone. I think I have been extremely patient and should be rewarded.
'I will remove this review once I receive my free hands free telephone'.
